- Partner (Provisional and Migrant) visa (Offshore) (subclass 309 100) This is the visa needed to bring your spouse/partner to Australia. It is an offshore visa. Initially your partner will be on a temporary visa but after two years in Australia they will be awarded permanent residency. After two years of PR status and a total of four years in Australia, your partner may be eligible for Australian citizenship.
